Michael Haydn (1737-1806) was an Austrian composer and younger brother of the famous composer, Joseph Haydn. He was born in Rohrau, Austria and showed musical talent from a young age. He received his early musical education from his father and later studied with renowned composers such as Johann Georg Albrechtsberger and Carl Ditters von Dittersdorf.
