John Fitzgerald Kennedy

John Fitzgerald Kennedy, also known as JFK, was the 35th President of the United States. He was born on May 29, 1917, in Brookline, Massachusetts to a wealthy and politically influential family. Kennedy had a privileged upbringing and attended prestigious schools such as Harvard University and Stanford University.

After serving in the Navy during World War II, Kennedy entered politics and was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1946. He then went on to serve as a senator from Massachusetts from 1953 until he became president in 1961.

As president, Kennedy was known for his charismatic personality and his ability to inspire and unite people. He focused on issues such as civil rights, space exploration, and foreign policy. One of his most famous speeches was his inaugural address where he famously said, "Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country."

Kennedy's presidency was marked by both successes and challenges. He successfully navigated the Cuban Missile Crisis and established the Peace Corps, but also faced criticism for his handling of the Bay of Pigs invasion and escalating involvement in Vietnam.

Tragically, Kennedy's presidency was cut short when he was assassinated on November 22, 1963.
